How Do You Research Cosmetic Surgery?
Hope you’re finding our Forum helpful. If you’ve popped by to do some research, beyond our web pages it’s a great place to start.
Why not browse through the face, body or boob section of our forum and see what the other girls are chatting about. You can see their before and after pics, ask their opinions on size, surgeon and types of procedures.
You can also search by using tags. So if you want to find out about breast uplifts, just type #breastuplift into the bar at the top of the page to see all the conversations exclusive to that procedure.
Plus, our surgeons all have a unique GMC number, which identifies them and proves they can practice. You can use this to discover more about your surgeon, or you can tag their name to see more about them here.
Don’t forget, you can also ask me. So comment with any questions and I’ll get back to you as quickly as I can.
Thanks for your question about how to find a surgeon’s GMC number. It’s always a good idea to find out as much as you can about the surgeon you’re working with. You can learn a lot about their experience and qualifications from us, as we make all our surgeon’s profiles available to patients. These profiles contain their seven digit GMC reference number, which they’re given when they register to practice.
You can also look up all registered practitioners on the General Medical Council register at http://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/medical_register.asp or you can ask your surgeon for their number during your consultation.
At Fitzroy Surgery we pride ourselves on having the best cosmetic surgeons in the UK, if not the world. Each has trained extensively in their specialist area worldwide and are more than happy to give as much information as they can to put your mind at rest. Just ask.
