New forum user - Can anyone tell me what happens in a nurse consultation?

Hi Ladies, I am new to the forum and looking to book a consultation but wondering what happens? Can anyone help?

Thank you!

Hi AmyAdele

You asked about your consultation with a nurse and what to expect.

Well, as we’re a clinically led service the first person you’ll meet will be your fully registered nurse. She will be there throughout your journey, but initially they are there to give you all the information you need and to answer your questions so you can make the right decisions for you.

On your first meeting, your nurse will discuss what you’d like to achieve, explain your options and resolve any queries.

The next step is to book you in with your surgeon. But remember, your nurse will still be there supporting you throughout.

Your nurse will also help arrange your procedure and carry out any investigations if you need them, to make sure your surgery runs smoothly.

Once you’ve had your procedure, your nurse will be the one to look after you, providing wound care and post-operative checks to make sure you’re healing well.

All the nurses at Fitzroy Surgery are highly qualified and specialise in cosmetic surgery to guide you through the process, putting your mind at rest while supporting and caring for you every step of the way.

If you want to find out more about our nurses, just leave a comment and I’ll get back to you.
